This is an updated heat valve for the exhaust of a boss 429 mustang. We all want the original look, but like most, arnt as concerned with emissions and or, cold winter starts heating up the intake, so this valve is set up to restrict a lot less when cold, it looks correct when in the car, but does not put as much heat in the intake as a factory car would in 1969-1970. Dont rush your intake rotting and excess heat in your show car/ driver.
